Universities and Research

Three DLR institutes are contributing their expertise to the project: the two DLR institutes for  DLR Institutes for Engineering Thermodynamics and Vehicle Concepts in Stuttgart and the DLR Institute for Transport Research in Berlin.

Once the grouping of the Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (UPEM), the research institute IFSTTAR, the school of architecture (Éav&t) and the three engineering schools (EIVP, ENSG and ESIEE Paris) had been agreed, a name had to be found for the new grouping.

Cities and city near organisations

Located near important economic centres and well connected to them by public transport, the city offers to contractors a work environment matching their expectations and their projects.

Issy-les-Moulineaux, through Issy Média, decided to join the project to develop new ways of mobiility using hydrogen as a method to fight against the air pollution and the road traffic in the City. This project is highly interesting by discovering new ways to strengthen the last mile delivery with zero emissions.

On the international level, the City of Stuttgart coordinates the global network Cities for
Stuttgart decided to join the FCCP Project in order to test the use of fuel cell driven cargo-bikes within technical departments of the municipality.

The Energy Expo Foundation is an independent platform with knowledge of sustainable mobility and brings companies, governments and educational institutions together.  When it comes to mobility, people often think of means of transport.  That’s right, but it doesn’t end there for us.  Energy Expo focuses on sustainable solutions for people and the environment.  Solutions that are smart, practical and innovative.  We help each other find and propose those solutions.
The share of mobility in the climate and environmental issue is large.  30 percent of our primary energy consumption is attributable to transport.  This can be completely sustainable and means that a lot of change is needed.  Not only the vehicles, but also the people themselves (behaviour), their living environment and, last but not least, the environment change with it.  The transition to sustainable mobility can be faster!  Together we are working on a smart and sustainable future.

For more than 20 years, Issy-les-Moulineaux, a vibrant city of the Greater Paris, where solidarity is a reality, has demonstrated its dynamism and audacity through its innovative and ambitious choices, in the area of Smart Cities. Located near important economic centres and well connected to them by public transport, the city offers to contractors a work environment matching their expectations and their projects.
Concerned about the well-being and prosperity of its inhabitants, Issy has put forward since 1991 a long-term positive vision of an Environment offering a better quality of life by adopting a Municipal Environment Plan

Aberdeen is Scotland’s third biggest City, it is in the North East coast of the Country. The City is often referred to as the Granite City or the silver city due to the stone in which most of the buildings are constructed. The region is well-known for its expertise in North Sea oil and gas, however it is quickly becoming a world leader in renewables as well with a significant amount of onshore and off-shore wind turbines and a leading position in the hydrogen sector. Aberdeen City Council are continuing on their journey to make the City a centre of excellence for hydrogen and rapidly expanding the use of the alternative fuel in fleet vehicles and public transport. With two publicly accessible hydrogen refuelling station already, Aberdeen is now seeking to develop a commercial supply of green hydrogen as part of the Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub. The Council are involved in the FCCP project to deploy yet another hydrogen-based transport solution for the City. The City will be deploying 6 bikes to local partners to help with last mile delivery.

Companys

The origin of the idea to develop batteries for the storage of electricity ot of hydrogen. Think energy mobile!

Founded in 2014, the company specialises in sustainable and environmentally friendly transport. E-cargo bikes, which can transport up to 250 kilograms of goods, are used for this purpose. Recipients of goods in various cities benefit from this environmentally friendly and modern transport solution.
